Aloha Dr. Aranas,
This is Bronson Brown from the University of Hawaii-Hilo. I just wanted to say Hi and I hope all is well. You will be happy to know that I am still the President of the Model U.N Club at UH Hilo and we are currently preparing ourselves for next years conference in New York. We have chosen to represent Greece this year. I would like to know your thought on Greece since you spent many years in Europe. Take care and Mahalo

Hi Bronson:
Greece is wonderful with a rich history and an ancient culture. The economic and political situation over the last several years created a great deal of stress and turmoil for its people. The students should find it interesting to see how the country is doing now as well as its government’s plans for the future.
The most important thing with Model U.N. (which not every school does) is to truly represent your chosen country from its perspective. The idea is to create peace through understanding.
I wish your team a safe and successful trip to New York.
Best regards,
Paul
